Hayward Gordon mixers include Portable, Top Entry, Side Entry, Dynamic In-Line, and Static. Sizes extend from fractional horsepower clamp mount agitators, to 500+ horsepower mixers for the largest and most demanding applications encountered. Mounting options include standard baseplate mounted open tank configurations and sealed units for high pressure, high temperature applications.

Impellers
A complete selection of mixing impellers covers the entire range from high flow, low shear requirements (including three different hydrofoil designs) through to specialty high shear impellers. This wide range of impeller styles allows us to match the flow and shear characteristics of a particular impeller to your exact process needs. We also offer custom-designed impellers for unique applications.

CFD
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) is a powerful fluid flow analysis software tool which simulates many aspects of mixing applications. With the ability to predict mixing performance under a variety of conditions and configurations, optimum impeller/tank/baffle selection can be made ahead of time, leading to more efficient mixing systems and better process control. CFD can also be used to improve the performance of existing equipment.

Lab Services
Using our well equipped a mixing lab, we’re able to test actual customer samples in order to produce scale-up exponents that assist in optimum sizing of mixers and to determine the appropriate level of mixing required for the full scale plant operation.

Mixing Assist
As a leader in mixing technology, Hayward Gordon is among the very few that puts knowledge directly in its customers hands to help them in their preliminary sizing. The registered version of Mixing Assist features 20+ impeller styles, up to 3 impellers per shaft, multiple tank geometries, and 3 types of mixing applications (blending, solids suspension, and gas dispersion).
